Well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger ha! ha!
Seriously, I think we all just play with the cards we get delt. If you had told me last year that I would be adding the MLC to my list of woes, I would have said NO Way! My H was very supportive thru my illness. Took me to all of my chemo treatments and called me every day. He did not hang out in the bar and gave me lots of time and attention. I am very thankful for that.
It only made it more painful thought when that all ended and he began the MLC. I know that looking at my mortality helped to trigger his issues. At one point this weekend he said, "what if you get cancer again?" He sounded like a lost boy.
Most of us are about as happy as we make up our minds to be.
