I am with you on being skeptical, but the fact that I remained faithful through all of this is taking a toll on her. She feels worse (outwardly) every day
If she can feel this way for several months, and see you NOT responding/rescuing her, and still maintain respect for you, there might be a chance here. I'd be willing to bet, however, that after just TWO WEEKS of you not responding to her crocodile tears, that she gets all vile and nasty on you again.
