I have come to believe that for us life after D will bring happiness... eventually. Not immediately.
It will not happen overnight, as some will try to tell us in a foolish approach to offering comfort. But it is the ending of the Limbo, with all its drama and uncertainties, that will help us to move forward and resolve the path of our lives. The same holds true for Reconciliation -- either event, Divorce or Reconciliation, will break the stalemate, this twisting in the wind while trying to gain traction in our lives.
Lwb, you are a wonderful woman and a loving mother, with a great head on your shoulders, intelligent and witty, strong in your convictions and in your morals, with a heart that just glows. I have absolute faith that even where your H has become too blind to see the rare gem he is losing, someone else will come along who will definitely recognize the true beauty you possess.
