You reminded me of how much fun I used to have about 25+ years ago

Exactly this is also what I was like in my late teens and early 20s (when I met H) and you know what I like that person much better than the one I had become. It felt very uncomfortable and unfamiliar at first but now it feels wonderful to welcome the real Alison back into my life.

I'd definately encourage anybody to be brave enough to do this once they are ready (and remember I am very nearly 3yrs down the line since H left so it hasn't been a quick transition).
