Never have..... he met her when he was training in Virginia last fall.....
S19 is bringing a girlfriend down from college next weekend, too! We've never met her, either!
My understanding is that the porcupines lost the battle! The tunnel was dark, and they rushed the lights of the Marines. Bad move, I think! It sounds like it was a couple of adults protecting their family. I imagine the guy in front will probably never hear the end of it!
Good thing S20 is home! (Though he is out all night tonight!) He has a wireless internet card in his laptop, and our DSL has been dropping in and out all day. More out than in, actually. So, I'm borrowing his computer. Which has quite a dusty keyboard! You can tell it has been on a less friendly environment for the past seven months!
Hey Jeff, you sound happy! Well done for selling the trailer at last! So you are getting a new grill and a fridge, is that right!?
I'm curious.. do your older sons know that you are banished to the spare room and do they ever ask you about how things are with you and their mum? Or are they all kinda blokey and dont want to get into their parents M! (and not at that age anyway). Just curious if you know they are noticing stuff. I bet its ace to have him home though, must be very special.

Fridge is ordered, should be here by Thursday. Grill is bought, and assembled!
Actually is is W who has banished herself to the guest room, I didn't go anywhere. I'm sure they notice things, but they don't really say anything. But they drop enough comments that I know they think she's over the top.
It is great having him home, though he has spent a lot of time out! Next weekend will be very interesting, with all of the kids here for the first time in months, and two girlfriends besides!
Oh, and W has some extra stress. Here dad went into the hospital early in the week to have surgery done on his foot, to repair damage done years ago due to a childhood illness, and years of misuse. (At least that is how I understand it.) He had the other one did some years ago, the recovery was difficult enough that he wasn't going to do the second one. But he changed his mind, for one thing it sticks out at a weird angle, and he come close to tripping himself. Anyway, as far as I know, that went ok, but while in the hospital being monitored, they decided that he should really have a pacemaker installed. It's probably been true for a while, but it was finally done yesterday. I guess his recovery isn't going perfectly, though I think it is ok. (I'm only getting secondhand info.) W's mom is 13 years younger than he is, and healthier, so she worries, and W can look at the down side of anything, so it's hard to tell for sure. Anyway, just some added excitement!
I'm taking today off, to wash windows, and clean the porch and patio. And probably take a run at cleaning my bathroom! THAT should be fun! (The cat's box is in there, too!)
