My W has gone away for a long weekend. She's visiting a friend of hers who moved 900 miles away. Her H was the OM in my W's life. I think their R was mostly too close for comfort to be just friends. In the past he would stay out with my W until all hours of the morning. He's taken her on private boat rides and sporting events without caring about how I would feel.
My W has called everyday telling me about her plans. How do you validate something like that. I want to say "honey I wish you were home" or "I miss you." I know this will scare her away.
