Glad you started at the job, it will be hard going for awhile until your body gets used to the physical side of the work. I am afraid you will have to explain to your kids that if you have to work then they have to help out (or more than they do) After all they are all old enough to realise you have to work otherwise they will have no extras at all. Dad has no job and apparently no incentive to look for one(I guess a roof over his families heads and food on the table isn't enough reason) and you cannot live off credits cards for ever. I don't know but I am guessing benefits don't cover all your bills so I am sure kids will be able to take over some of your chores, especially when they see how tired you get. Like you have been saying all this time how hard jobs are to come by and I am sure they will realise you were lucky to get this one right now when you really need it. Isn't one of your girls at home all day(home schooled) maybe she could help prepare evening meal or something. They sound like good girls so maybe don't try to do it all yourself and don't be too proud to insist on help. I know we mums feel we should be keeping house and doing everything ourselves at times, but needs must at times. Hope the shoes help. Makes me miserable if my feet hurt. Nice to be busy tho as I guess the days go quickly and nice to meet lots of people.
