Ok so I am soo glad that I broke the ice now. H came by tonight, we chatted a bit as usual...how is the pt job...what time do you work there...yada yada....proceed to ML.....then after he remains in bed awhile and I make sure to maintain contact, hand on him and he does not move away. He stays in the bed relaxing for about 15-20 min before getting up. Yeah!! Then when he is getting ready I get up and go get something to drink, he comes in to go through his mail which I always leave in a pile on the kitchen table for him, he says good bye and this time HE initiated the hug and kiss goodnight!!! Woo Hooo babysteps oh babysteps.
This is also the first time that after he left I do not feel sad!! Usually I feel all sad like I am about to cry that he left this time I actually feel good and happy and so very hopeful. I know it does not seem like much but I have noticed him softening more and more. He lingers longer after our encounters and now initiating the goodbye hug/kiss.
Ok that's enough for tonight...I must go to bed and try to get some sleep now.
P.S. He even sent a text when he got home saying he was there!!
