Thanks, guys! You're right shouldn't worry about that stuff!!! And thanks for saying I'm progressing, b/c sometimes I have days where I'm not sure that I am! But I feel stronger and more self-confident now so guess that's something. And I can tell y'all what to do!!! Well, I was looking good tonight-wore tight jeans and a tight black shirt, and full makeup and all, always fun to do that.
I have to give H credit: he showed up for a minute to wish D8 luck and then an hour later to tell her goodbye. Our friends were polite and friendly to him, well one or 2 of them anyway! I was kind of surprised when we got home an hour later and H was still here. Guess he changed his mind or whatever.
I'm in a super great mood today, even more than usual, b/c my car was ready today!!! I love it, and I picked it up and I'm so happy! It seems good as new which is good b/c the final total bill was over $8000!!! (Thank goodness we have great insurance so just had a little deductible)!
Then I had Terrific Tuesday, the afterschool program at my church. The kids are so sweet there and all the other women are really nice too. Always a good time.
Well, D8 did pretty good at her audition. She was definitely the cutest one there, but we had been tipped off earlier today (by some who auditioned last night) there are only 4 female parts for Little Women, well younger women. And Jamie is probably a little young for them. The nearby college apparently sent all their theatre majors, there were about a dozen for every part tonight, and I heard there were also a lot last night, so us regular small town folk probably don't have much of a chance. But it was good practice for D8 and we got to see a bunch of our friends. I didn't try out but signed up for painting the sets b/c I always enjoy that!
The only bad thing is D8 started coughing at the audition and told me at the end she had a sore throat, too! Poor thing! We left immediately then, before they finished up, but honestly so many theatre majors there, I'm not too worried about her missing out on a part! She practiced her song for about 5 minutes today we were so busy, but I told her for "Peter Pan" which is one she really wants a part in a couple months, we'll spend more time practicing so hopefully she can get one (and me too)!
