Time to pack up and move on

I spent my first night alone in the the house on Sat. It was H's weekend and suggested that they stay at his house. H seemed surprised by that and asked why. I said I thought that we should start doing that. H ended up letting D10 stay at a friend's house which is where she was most of the weekend. I guess it is his weekend to do what he wants with.

Friday is D15 bday. I asked H the about if he wanted to have dinner with us. I said we would have to go out because D10 has a skating lesson and D15 has plans later in the evening. H said we could do that or he could cook. I was shocked by the offer and don't think he has many recipes in his cookbook. I told him I thought we should leave it up to D.

I also asked H if he got a gift for D yet. I have of course, and I figure he had given it no thought. That was one of the many things I always took care of. I guess he got the hint that he was to get his own gift, but he had to ask for ideas.

Should be an interesting week.
