Sorry things have gotten this rough. I know the feeling of being angry at the H for not being there, being supportive. I was reminded this week of something we have both heard before, about how the H cannot give something he doesn't have. It is sad to think maybe they are unable to be loving and giving people at this point...
But everyone is right, focus on your dad. Spend time with him however you can. You are always talking about birthday parties and events with friends. Even if you have never asked any of them to watch your kids before, now, is a good time to do it. I am sure they will understand and help out if at all possible.
