Monday again, where does the weekend go? I didn't do much this weekend. It felt nice not having to do last minute things for DD's homecoming.
I've got to share a little event that happened Friday night at the homecoming. I didn't really mean to do it, or maybe I did... I was pinning H's boutoniere on the lapel of his suit and poked him right in the chest. He said "$h*t!",thank goodness not loud enough for anyone else to hear! I had to hold back a giggle that I had stuck him. I said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." I'm not sure he believed me though. Ironic that I stuck him in the heart, maybe it was subconscious payback! I still get a little chuckle out of it when I think about it!

BG, Thanks for asking. It was beautiful. The girls were absolutely gorgeous and the football players looked quite handsome. As much as my DD stressed over homecoming, I dread seeing what she will be like when she gets old enough to get married!

Oh I understand that totally! last year when she went to prom, I couldnt handle her at all lol!! sheesh she has this years prom and next years, maybe a homecoming nomination next year and a marriage someday, thinking I will surrounder her to gma for those lol!!

BG, Our daughters sound a lot alike. My DD17 has always been so picky about her appearance. Even when she was around 2 or so, if she dropped even a drop of water on her she had to change clothes. Of course now she is all about her clothes. She has a closet full of clothes, some still have tags on them, and still says that she has nothing to wear!
She will have terrible time in college with such a small closet! I pity her roommate!

LOL yes they do sound alike! D I just found out sat nite when i had nothing to wear and raided her closet how many things still have tags on them! I grabbed two shirts that had been hanging there for almost a year unworn lol! she had just gone off about nothing to wear so my mom took her shopping again yesterday, she did really need jeans, she is 6 ft tall, and thin, huge leg muscles and a big ol butt, so she tends to wear them out pretty fast or say blow them out lol!! poor d's share a room, and d13 is always mad about the lack of room for her clothes lol!!

Interesting day yesterday. I had two men calling me last night.
One was my H and the other was the OW's exH. Hmmmm...if it was a movie I could have both of them and leave the ho without anyone. I'd also make it really dramatic and let her live in a box under a bridge.
H came over yesterday afternoon to look at my leaky roof. While he was here he also cleaned out my gutters. When he left my house he was going to his deer camp. He told me he would call later. After he left I took both of my DD's out to eat and then we had to make a Wal-Mart run.
DD20 had a few friends over. They stayed outside on the screened in back porch. One of the young men came in to talk to me. I think he sees me as a mother figure, he always ends up staying in the house with me more than being outside. He has had rough time recently his parents have had some marital problems. We don't talk about them though.
H did end up calling. He asked what I was doing. I said "I'm sitting in the den talking to Steve and DD17. In a very surprised voice he said "Who?" I said, "DD20's friend, you've met him." He said, "Oh, okay." By the way, I have an exbf named Steve, that was calling me when he found out that H and I had separated...so I guess he thought it was him.
After I got off the phone with H the phone rang and it was OW's exH. I didn't answer the phone though, so I'm not sure what he wanted.
Not bad for a PMA! It's kinda fun knowing I have a secret from my H for a change!
