Well, the homecoming ceremonies are over. DD is at the dance right now and I'm at home in my pjs. Wow, it feels nice.
Everything went very nicely. She looked beautiful in her long dress and her suit. As we were driving to the the day homecoming assembly, I got a little sad, knowing that she is getting closer to leaving the nest everyday. It doesn't seem like she should be old enough to to be on the homecoming court! My baby has grown into a young woman. All of the girls on the court were absolutely stunning.
My Dad and my H survived being around each other. My H even shook my dad's hand when he left and told him it was nice seeing him.
