For someone that doesn't have any money, he sure can come up with it for vacations! Jerk.

I know!!! And he lied to me had emailed he was going to be on a biz trip, but then he told D8 today he found a bunch of seashells for her so apparently an end-of-the year beach trip!!! And I have to borrow money from my S14 for a bible study class I want to take (just have to pay for the book but I don't have enough!). One thing I was thinking the silver lining about D him is that he is such a jerk, it won't be much of a loss for me I think! Karen

You'll be running from the court house yelling "I'm free, I am free!!" and waving your hands in the air. You won't know what to do with your new found freedom.

I was thinking for a second why would H lie to me about the biz trip--and thinking aw, maybe he wanted to spare my feelings or was feeling guilty or something. Then I realized prob. he didn't want me to complain about his freq. vacations while I'm broke or maybe not wanting to mention to my L--I would think it would be hard to plead poverty as he does but take a vacation every month with ow!!!

S14 is excited, there is a new Star Wars series starting tonight and he asked me if I want to watch it with him. He's so sweet; I told him of course I will! I've actually seen all the Star Wars and the reviews looked pretty good on it, too so we'll see! Karen

I think so. I do think I'll have some sadness, but really our marriage ended a while ago so hopefully not too much. And yeah, I won't have to worry about him controlling me anymore or the $$ and stuff. I hope he realizes that soon, too b/c with his trying to get me to move and all this other stuff I don't think he does!!! The L did say I should look into renting and the house might have to be sold. Funny how that wasn't a possibility when she was trying to talk me into divorcing H in January--but I figured it was typical lawyer spin which it was.

Funny how the $$ thing works. My W can't find the money to pay the bills. She can find the money to get new glasses, even though D11 needs them, and go to SD with the OM. I quit wondering what they are thinking, obviously nothing rational.

Busy but fun day today. The kids and I had our yellow belt testing (we find out in 2 weeks if we get them, but the master said we did great and I should be proud of my kids so I think that means we'll get them!!!) and he tested us for about 20-30 minutes (it seemed like an hour though). And kicks like the front-flying kick or whatever you call it that I'd only done once!!! Everyone watches you while you do your pushups and form and situps--kind of embarrasing, but I was so focused on doing everything it wasn't so bad, but stressful. One of the 2 testers evaluating us I found out later is ranked 8th in the world--and of course he was the one that held my board and it took me 4 tries but at least I finally did break it! Yahoo!!! The kids broke their boards on the 2nd try, so they are better than their momma-for now! \:\)

Then D8 had a birthday party and I talked to the parents a little-our TKD instructor is her dad. Then dinner and housework and need to do more tonight because H is getting back from vacation tomorrow and is supposed to pick up the kids before church tomorrow.

At the belt testing today, you know the wives, moms, dads, and even some grandparents were there. For a moment I felt sad that I don't have an H there and the kids don't have a dad there (b/c he's vacationing with OW!), but then I felt like he really is missing out on a lot with kids and making bad choices and I think the kids and I will always have a tight bond and know I'm always there for them. I would think H at some point would regret the way he is now, but who knows? Karen

Good for you!! I am really proud of you and all the strides you are making. It is sad that H is missing out and show what a compassionate person you are for thinking of him when he is the one making the bad choices. but you will drive yourself crazy thinking that way.

Kind of disappointed not getting to meet yenko today but am glad for his turn of events.

I started reading Twilight last night and am almost half way through. Brings back all of those first love memories...

Don't think I can add much more to that.
