If Maria makes it to Idaho, be sure to make time to head further west to the beautiful and romantic beaches of OREGON! Also, stop along the way to observe the wildlife (and get in a some beaver pond fishing).
I think in Woog's and my part of the country, beavers are good friends with trout.
When fishing a beaver pond with trout, just remember that if you can see the trout, they can see you. It might be best to approach the pond from downriver of the dam so as to be more stealth like.
Woog, do you have any experience fishing beaver ponds?
So you are saying you would be ok with Woog fishing in the beaver pond, or whatever Kerry said? PLEASE don't answer that...........it was rhetorical......
Yes I do have some experience fishing beaver ponds and you are correct. Stealth is key. That goes for spring creeks as well.
We have three different mountain ranges that converage here in Sandpoint and a huge lake that is breathtaking with the sunset over the mountains and the reflection in the lake. We also have a ski resort with fantastic powder.
If only I could convince Sunshine to get on the three planes it would take to get here...... she may never leave..
