Well another thread locked. As a matter of fact I'm gone for a few hours and all hell has broken loose with good people banned. It seems the DRAMA never ends..Don't you ever get tired of the drama??
This thread title was thought up due to a convo I had with Racefan on whether he thought I would look weird or appear gay if I went to see a chic flick by myself the other night. (Nights in Rodanthe)his response to my question was "you won't look any stranger than you did when you went into the store and bought Tampons for your STBX"..his statement got my mind rolling which in turn brought up some anger..anger about things I had done for her which just don't seem to matter to her anymore..things I had done for her that caused myself pain and embarrassment but that I did out of love..
so that's the reason for the thread title..as always come on in, pull up a chair..the drinks are on me..let the debauchery begin..

How was the movie? I guess I'm first (a rarity these days) so I thought I'ld say hi and tell you that you shouldn't feel any pain or embarassment for any actions you did out of love. Rather she should be the one who is embarrassed for making you feel that way.

movie was sold out Friday night so I missed out. I plan on going tomorrow night.
Lots of guts..I guess..I've come up with some good thread titles..Of course the way this board is at the moment the use of the word tampons may get me banned.
I fail to see the positive in banning people who are giving back?? Especially to Newcomers. Some of the banned went out of their way over there to pay it forward..the way the world is now and the way some things are done sometimes it makes me wonder.."why bother"??

Yeah, you never know what will get you banned these days so you may as well say what you feel. And when I said you had lots of guts, I wasn't just referring to the thread title - although that was the main thing.
You've made a great point. So many good people were banned today with so much collective wisdom, optimism, laughter and great advice to give to everyone, especially the newcomers. Wonder what new people will think of this place when they come here now?
As for "why bother?" - don't ever give up. Nothing will ever change unless we try to change it. And no one ever said anything came easily.
Oh, and as for the "with great power, comes great responsibility", it appears that there are more people in charge of this Board who understand the concept of power but haven't a clue about the responsibility part.

Hey Mike, along the same lines as you buying Tampons, did you ever hold your W's purse while she tried on clothes or shoes at the mall? Did your W ever create lists of Honey Do's for you and you did them? I was speculating with some married guys at work if they ever gave a list of things they wanted their wives to get done during the day. They cringed at the thought. Have we all become metrosexual men in the 21st century? What is to happen to men 100 years from now - I would not be surprised if science will make it possible for us to give birth like male seahorses?
Kerry, the question is, what did I not do. That's where I struggle in all this. Ya know I could see all this happening with an abuser, drunkard, not for chitt father and I am assuming you could too. Me, I'm a good guy. Like all other one time DAMS I had my faults and ignored her needs for years but once I was smacked up side the head I woke up and was a better husband..
