She is being this ugly person right now because she is in fight or flight mode. She has royally f"ed up her life and her perfect little fantasy is crashing down around her. The "WONDERFUL" OM knocked her up and bailed out - what a prize. The other person she is texting with is a loser too and is probably not going to stick around with all of her drama.

You are her whipping boy and she uses you to the fullest extent. She views you are the cause of all of her problems. She is not ready to face up to anything yet. She is still in the fog and until she starts to come out of it, she is going to be this person.

If you really want there to be a M to try and work on then you should distance yourself as much as possible now before she does so much damage that you can't/won't be able to forgive her.
