I highly recommend reading it. It is very DEEP but I think he is dead nuts on.

I saw W today. I "happily" gave her this months spousal maint check. I happily asked her if it was enough and if she needed more.....does this go against my natural self defenses??? Am I putting HER needs before my own????

She seemed softer today, but that may just be my perception based on my current state of mind. I know she is hurting.

She quickly left. I called. Asked about the status of the kids homework. She responded with why didn't you ask kids. I responded with you are the parent. I need to know what they did this weekend and what you think they need to do tonight.

She said they need a break from HW and could read....
