OD, I did see my ex-cello teacher yesterday for a few minutes. My current cello teacher said ECT was coming to pick her up, would I like to say hello? I was very warm and friendly, huge smiles like I was only happy to see her. I gave her a big hug, asked her how she was doing, asked her if she wanted to hang out. She was a little cold, "it's good to see you," "we'll see how things work out" about hanging out.
I am just trying to be a big girl. I thought about sending some muffins home with my cello teacher for ex-cello teacher to eat. We'll see. Olive branch! Olive branch!
I did something else scary today: I asked for a "sebbatical" from an ensemble I'm playing with. I just have too much on my plate & it's the only thing I could let go of. And my cello teacher was really understanding. PHEW!!! Now I have reclaimed 90 minutes of my life every week!
((BETH)) it's so good to see you on my thread! Yes, i am busy but I am not sure I am ever actually having fun. I think instead of sayign "GAL" we should say "HAVE FUN" !! I think it is awesome how much soul searching you have been doing. You are growing SO MUCH!!
