Close encounters of the MLC kind

So D12 came home from visiting H this afternoon very excited. Seems he found an apartment and was showing it to her. He got a 2-bedroom, so she could have her own room, and she gets to have it painted lavender, her favorite color. It's near the medical center where he works, and is downtown near the canal. I think. I'm going from her description. At any rate, it's downtown. I heard all kinds of details.

That's about as much as I know. As I anticipated, in the area he lived 22 years ago. Pricey. And he's moving in next weekend. I'm a little concerned, because D and I have a plans then that will take us out of our house all day that weekend, and I really want to be here when he completely moves out (he's only taken his clothes and a few books so far) so that he doesn't take stuff he shouldn't. With any luck he will discuss it with me during the week and we can come to some agreement. He's discussed some preliminaries, but I'm afraid if he's here by himself he'll be a bit less appropriate. I mean, it's only stuff, but stuff is about all I have at the moment and I won't be able to afford to replace what he takes in the near future.
