Sounds like you need to tighten up things and fine tune your actions and attitudes so that you do not let him see you upset over things like that.
You need to focus on being happy, fun to be aorund Jen. Not needy Jen who fusses when he has to leave. Because you will eventually scare him away to the point he won't want to come around because of your reaction when he leaves, and you don't want that!
