Sign the papers tonight. Get that issue out of the way. You are not going to drag your feet on signing then all of a sudden the light bulb goes on for her. She got left holding the bag (Baby), the OM went running...you thought you might then have a chance if you white knighted the situation...and now you found out that won't work. Sign the papers....if she down the line thinks differently about you you can always remarry. I really don't see that happening based on what you wrote. Time to be there for your kid and press-on.
