Starting a new thread in case the old one locks before tomorrow....

Okay, so I'm noticing that I get bummed in the afternoons like this. I think it's because the longer the day goes on and no contact made from H is upsetting. Anyway, I'm thinking that maybe asking him to come out early on Saturday would be asking too much? He said he'll be here at 9:30 and he will be able to visit with D longer then usual, so it does benefit him too, but I'm just wondering if I should wait to see Fireproof until it's more convenient or to where I dont' have to adjust H's schedules? Plus, I don't want him taking her to his place again.....even though he hasn't done that at all since D spent the night there a couple weekends ago, but he may with the longer day. I HATE THIS.

I so wish I could have the courage to ask H if he'd like to go to see Fireproof with me. The school's having a fundraiser tonight from 7-10pm for the kids. You pay this gymnastics place $20 and they do gymnastics, games, bingo, movies and pizza while the parents can go out and do what they want. It would be nice for H to go and have coffee or something. I feel like a loser.

My H hates to go to the movies so I would end up going alone or with someone. He is not into movies like this so for me, I would go with friends.

FG pray about that one. When h and I saw the movie together I just said h would you like to go see a movie with me? I said it's called "Fireproof". I described it to h as an action movie about fire fighting.

Now all above is true, it's just that h had NO idea what he was going to go see. I really didn't either. I don't think the trailer was even released yet when I saw the premier.

Now h and I were going on dates now and then, so me asking him to go to a movie was NOT out of the ordinary.

What is the worst that could happen? He would say NO thank you!

Forgot to add: you might enjoy it without him there and without having to wonder what he is thinking while watching this. Some men do not care for movies such as this.

Yes FG MWG brings up a very good point. Some men might not care for the movie. I was just grateful that my h went and actually said the movie was well done.

Cry alone, but be encouraged and do not be sad for your sitch. I had a hard time after the movie thinking why can't this happen for me. Once again it's only a movie.

Keep that in mind!

I'm not so sure it's good to see this before the C. Is it? I'm already PMS'ing as it is, plus add on this movie and then the C appointment? They might as well sign me up for burial this weekend! lol \:\)

Oh FG!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you can wait until after the C session and after the lines dwindle down some before you go see it.

Last week a long time friend of mine decided to leave her H of 4 years. They have a 4 year old S (do the math \:\) ). She decided she's "no longer in love with him" and told him she's done. They already went to MC and IC as well. She went in with a closed mind though and I tried to tell her that but we're obviously on 2 different thought processes when it comes to our marriages. Anyway, she left him last Saturday, already had him served and now he's contesting asking for residential custody where S lives with H and W gets visitation and to pay CS. She's a bit fumed to say the least. I have to bite my tongue though because it bothers me that she quit so easily as it is.
