Hi Mattie,
Homecoming is next Friday. We picked up her dress from the dress shop yesterday from getting alterations. She is getting so excited! Monday night there is a dinner for the homecoming royalty and their escorts, then Tuesday they have a breakfast. Thursday there will be a breakfast for the royalty, all football players, and spirit squad members. Friday there will be a school wide assembly in the gym where the girls will wear their long gowns and be escorted by the senior football players. That night they will wear their suits and hats and be escorted by their fathers, etc. My daughter asked her father and grandfather (my dad) to escort her. It will be a whirlwind of activities. Oh to be young again!!!
