I just called him last night and left a message that was very warm, basically "Hey B, it's transformer. I am feeling a lot better so I thought I would call you. I hope you are feeling totally 100% better yourself! I would love to hear your thoughts on my new cello search and hear about your brother's success. I think you are in Iowa right now with your group so call me whenever it's good for you. I hope you are having a lot of good music and doing really well!" Or something like that. I haven't heard from him yet but that is OK, I think he is probably super busy. I hope he could feel the warmth in my voice. It wasn't exactly flirtatious but I think I was smiling the whole time I was talking.
Last night I had a weird dream about him. We were sitting in the same seat watching some kind of concert/performance, reading from the same program, which he was holding over my loins. I made some sort of flirty comment about that area and he said something like, "You know I really like you, I just had to figure some things out on my own." or something like that. It was a nice dream!!!
Otherwise... I had a *really* good cello lesson today. And I met with my music theory professor and installed this practice software, something I've been procrastinating about for over a month, and then tonight I actually started USING the software, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be!!! I also asked him to serve on my "exam committee" and he said yes. Alleluia. He is so clear, helpful, nice--a rare jewel in academia!!
In other news, I found out this morning that my ex-cello teacher (who brutally sort of "dumped" me in a very cruel way after being very cruel and discouraging to me right before my auditions to study with the teacher I am studying with now) is coming to atlanta tonight?! I am NERVOUS about running into her. Ex-cello teacher is my CURRENT cello teacher's sort of protege/surrogate daughter. But I am trying to remember why I really loved ex-cello teacher BEFORE she became cruel and discouraging. It might be a good chance to practice reconciliation, but, of course ex-CT's heart needs to be open. I think she decided to seek solace this week with her surrogate mama & poppa because of some sort of man problem...??
