I am doing pretty good. Worked yesterday and went out and got D11 after work. I have to go to SRT training soon and then probably go mess with some old cars.
While I was at work yesterday got a call from our process server about a car in the road. I went over and it was over the top of a hillcrest and not quite far enough over to the side. The road is narrow and people drive crazy on it.
Called a tow truck and waited for about an hour before it showed up. They got the car loaded and I left. The process server says to come back. The owner was way back in the field and saw his car getting towed. The PC said it was pretty funny watching him sprint across the field. He ended up paying for part of the tow.
Later his W called and started chewing out another deputy, who had stopped by. He said that when he explained the situation she just said "Oh, thank you." I have a feeling that guy was in some trouble last night.
As far as me, write about it later or tomorrow.

One thing of interest, I know my W was home on Monday when I called and D11 was being crazy.
I was out at the house today and looked on the caller id. That night OM called about 8 times between 11 and 2 am. Then another yesterday at 6 am. Not the first time I have seen this pattern. There are usually ones real late and real early. If she is gone it shows about every 15-30 min he will call. I just find it interesting.

My W called me today asking about how much money she owed on some bills. Talked for a little bit about that and having D11 come over after school because she a case plan meeting about SD16. A few things about car ins, ect.
She called again a little later because she had forgotten about some bills. I asked what time she was going to be done with the meeting. She said she was not sure and asked if I had plans. I said I had dinner plans later tonight. She asked if it was a date. I told her no, just some friends. She asked who and I told her just friends.
Then she started getting irritated. She said she was honest with me and why could I not be honest with her. That she was the only one being honest. I told her sorry you feel that way. I asked if she wanted me to get D11 something to eat. She said don't bother she would just have D11 go to MIL. That why would I just get D!! something to eat and not eat with her, it made no sense.(?) I said it was not a problem and I would go after she picked up D11.
She then asked if I had talked to a L yet. I said I have an appointment next week. She asked if I had been served yet. I told her not yet. (the paperwork is still at the house) I asked if there was anything else. She said no and I told her I would talk to her later. She said ok and sounded like she was a little taken back.
The last part I am sure was just to see what kind of reaction she could get out of me. I gave her the only one I give her now, calm and non-chalant about things.
Apparently the school never gave D11 the message and she took the bus to MIL's. I asked if she wanted me to get her and she said no she would just stay there and call my W to tell her where she was at. To bad I canceled my plans for tonight.

As far as the OM goes, he is back in town for a little bit. When I drove by his house yesterday he was out by his truck. His face fell when I went by. I just smiled. I am sure every time he sees a county car his anxiety level must go up some. What a way to live.
