Good news....we got the keys this afternoon. Ds and I took over some kitchen stuff and cleaning supplies. Started to organize a few things. New furniture is being delivered on Thursday and the movers do the rest on Saturday.
Busy rest of the week ahead. Tomorrow is my first offical day back to work. D has a soccer match in the afternoon. Friday evening I'm taking the Ds to their first concert. Don't be jealous though, it is the Jonas Brothers. Yikes! I must be a devoted or crazy mom.

My school is suddenly adding another section of kindergarten 5 days into the school year. Kids just kept showing up to register and they had 25 in every class. I hope my S gets to keep his teacher, I love her! I already volunteered to be room mom so I bet she tries to keep my kid...
The move is a lot esp with the school year starting up. But you are an amazing strong lady and you can handle it. Give yourself time to get settled in. Maybe you can use Labor Day weekend to catch up, unless you have big plans.
Hi everyone. I guess it has been awhile since I have been around. I finally got internet service yesterday, and then we had a big storm. I was without power for over 12 hours. It is good to be back in this century.
School is going great. I am enjoying being back in the classroom.
I am in a very happy place right now. I saw my T last week and she was amazed at how good I'm doing. I have had a few moments of tears since the move, but nothing major. I seem to be doing better than H. I think he is starting to feel pretty lonely. He seems to try and come up with reasons to stop by. Tonight I think he was looking for an invitation to dinner when he stopped by. He didn't get one though.

Well I was doing better until this weekend. H is so up and down and all over the place that it drives me nuts. I know I need to not let his behavior rule my moods. I was looking forward to a quiet evening alone on Saturday and then I got stuck doing volunteer work for D15's school. Yesterday I had to go to a meeting with H and D10. H wanted to go to a store after the meeting and I just wanted to get home. It was a store though that involved a hobby he was into when we were happy together. He wants to get back into it so I said ok. Then he kept asking my opinion. WHen I got home I spent a couple of hours doing yard work. Not something I really enjoy, but it was kind of nice working on my yard. At one point I stood in the woods and just enjoyed the quiet beauty. Today I used the lawn tractor and cut the yard for the first time. It felt good to do it myself.

I was doing good until this past weekend. I have to not let the stupid crap H says and does effect me. I was going to file in Jan, I know he never will, but I may need to do it sooner for the sake of my sanity.

I feel for you, I know you made the move to a new home but sounds like you are still a little bit in limbo until somebody files.....I can only imagine that must suck.
How is school though???
I had 8 ELL students, but a family w/4 of my kids is moving tomorrow which cuts my student load in half, good thing it won't do the same to my salary...
