The loan was for debt that was acquired by both of us before he left.
And I agree, it is hard to find 2nd jobs. He has been looking and is taking on little side jobs, thats all he can do with his work schedule. We live in a small county and he already has the best job in the area.
Oh! Talk about a jolt of self confidence! I sware I just had a guy come in here to order flowers just so he could talk to me! He asked about my H and told me how stupid he was to leave a beautiful woman like me! I was blushing from head to toe! He said that like 3 times. That is the 3rd man this week to say how stupid my husband is and that he will never find another woman like me! I should start telling these guys that my husband didnt leave me because he thought I was ugly....lol, he still thinks I am beautiful.
But it made me smile ear to ear! I think he was trying to pick me up! lol

I have to say that my H was not one of these mlcers that bought toys and spent money like crazy. But he has gone in further debt to pay his bills by paying for everything alot with a credit card.

Impossible when there are no jobs to be had. How would a judge be able to order that?
He would look at the financial statements amongst other things. Heck, if the judge says H has to do it, then he has to get a job, even if it is at a McDonald's.
I am just telling you what my SIL has told me as she has seen this happen many times.

I myself have been trying to find a 2nd job because STBX isn't paying child support let alone half of the debts racked up during our M and even McDonald's won't give me a job. They say they want part time help but when you list your availability and tell them honestly that you are only available evenings and weekends they immediately disregard your app. They want part-time help but you have to be full time available. How dumb is that?
And the danger in some of these jobs is that you may put down the hours and they hire you then they cut back on everyone's hours where you work maybe 10-12 hours a week. It is insane and I agree--the job market is so very tight. I have been looking since the end of May and nothing!
And the only reason I got this job is because my parents know the owners. It was something I knew nothing about and it just happened.
I agree, the market is worse then the media is letting on.

That's the whole problem though. Even if it's ordered and her H is applying for jobs that doesn't mean he'll get one. I've been trying for part-time work and they just aren't hiring unless you have full-time availability even if they are only willing to give you 10-15 hours a week.

I think I would love to open a flower shop but there are so many here!! Although, I don't think I have seen one in my neck of the woods.

It is really scary what is happening. So many getting laid off, cannot find a job that will pay enough to make the mortgage payments and put food on the table, no benefits, and everyone is using up savings (if you have one!) to live.
