SIL told me that day that we would go sign the docs then she'd go back and pick them up and bring them to the other court. She said before they grant the D a Social Worker will have to visit to clarify everything and make sure you agree with everything. I asked her how long all that would take and she said "it's pretty fast...maybe a month" He doesn't have a document either.
I was going to ask one of our friends who is D how long it took his (although his was a bit more complicated).
Maybe it doesn't matter?? It's only a flipping piece of paper
