So how do you feel about sleeping on 'their' side of the bed?
I still sleep on 'my side' and feel uncomfortable on 'her side'.

Actually, I sleep on the edge of my side, like I did when she was still here. I just don't feel comfortable on that side of the bed.

Lately I've been thinking that I should move all my stuff (clock, phone, etc...) to 'her side', kind of like I'm reclaiming my territory.

Is this too weird?

Even when I was single I slept on a certian side of the bed. I had a double bed all my life but never slept in the middle or the other side of the bed.

Now it's just worse. His stuff is still on his night table \:\(

I have to say I stay on my side. I haven't gone over to his side, which as it turns out is now the cat's side! I am happy that way, it would be too weird for me to encroach on that side just yet but maybe one day I will feel comfortable enough to do so. For the moment I am happy on my side \:\)

That makes me think of another topic. How the animals deal with this. We have a Shepherd mix and a Beagle. The Beagle doesn't really miss her but our shepherd, who is old and neurotic hasn't been the same since all this started. She follows me around all the time and is skittish. When W comes over she follows her around and is needy of attention.

My cat actively HATES my h now. She won't go near him and shoots him filthy looks whenever he comes round. She is a really nice sweet-tempered affectionate cat to the rest of the world! Really strange, also doesn't help my sitch as my h takes it personally and it adds to his guilt as he loves the cat.

I sometimes lie transversely now....really get to stretch out. Unfortunately, she has no qualms about turning on the light and, while I am in a deep sleep, saying in a loud voice to move over.

As for the pets..my greyhound is thanking me (yeah..he doesn't like being leftt out in 95 degree weather all day nor in the aftermath of Hurricane Hannah....yes...it's true).

The cat won't mind...doesn't get fed by her anyway nor is cat food included in the weekly shopping...even tho' she is 15 years old.

The hamster..who she picked out...would have been dead of dehydration by now from an unfilled water bottle.

What were you saying again Frank?
