I am just going to say "Amen" to everything Ali said to you. If the things your xh is telling you are a problem for him, are things you realize are not the most attractive qualities about you, then whether he comes back or not, it's time for you to take the steps to really change for YOU.
Ali is spot on, you can't just stop for now, you have to actually take steps to change, and you have to be doing it for you. If you really want to make these changes, you have to stop focusing on your H and focus on you.
You've been doing a good job with GAL, making new friends, getting out of the house, doing something for you aside from xH and D. All very good things. Keep up the good work.
