wow, Christmas, its just around the corner tho isnt it? Was in a few stores this weekend and yup, right next to the halloween candy is Christmas decs! yipes!
I tried to keep the same traditions, and we did as a family, as far as my sibs/parents etc. but Ry and I had to adjust a little when ex left. Our big family party is the 26th w/ my siblings and all so that stayed the same, thank goodness for family! but actual Christmas, Ry and I go to mass Christmas eve, then to dinner, always applebees lol dont know why, not crazy about the place, but its become tradition.
We them go home and watch Christmas Story, my fav, and Christmas Vacations his fav, make Irish coffees-- by then i'm pooped and go to bed lol The morning we get up and do our gifts, and have cinn. rolls, thats new too, we just decided thats the one day we'll have cinn. rolls pop n fresh lol- So pretty much the same, christmas eve has actually changed more, then anything, and not working last C.E was really nice!
Then we wait for my parents to come over for dinner- now my sisters kids are getting older they come around late afternoon and get ready for the big tadoo the next day. Ry has never seen his dad on Christmas day, its either days before or after, I wonder how ex feels about that but then I think , well it was is choice.
