Good good weekend all around. My D6 made some executive decisions about her life (lol) and has dropped Brownies in favor of a new gymnastics/tumbling class. Why does this make me SO very happy? Because I was ready to face OW, who would have been D6's co-leader this year. Blecky. D6 had no clue about who her leaders were going to be, she just wanted to try something new. Yay for that!!! I love that she does her own thang!
Of course, now D4 wants to take tumbling, so excuse me while I pluck some money from the money tree in my backyard as H won't help out with this (in the decree, we must 'agree' on their activities, spare me). Oh well, I know it'll be great for them.
I have learned something and gotten to a new place. My relationship with H is a 'barely' friends/mom-dad relationship now. Nothing he does on his own (single life, oh the joy) will change what we have. We will always be their parents. What he does on his own can't affect me. Won't affect me eventually. Make sense?
