ACJ,

I'm so sorry he filed. I think he'll find the process isn't going to be much fun-- he will look like the jerk he is. I'm sure your D is acting out because she's scared. Is your S "peeking" a bit? If things remain tense at your H's, maybe he'll ask to come home. Maybe it is tense over there because OW gave your H an ultimatum.

Here's hoping their R will self-destruct!

His reasoning just doesn't make any sense. If those were his reasons for basing your unreasonable behaviour, because of his unreasonable behaviour, then the law is really fuzzy. If it works, that is. Just make sure you stick to pure logic, be absolutely calm and reasonable in all public dealings with him, and show that he is the one who is unreasonable, and being stupid. Perhaps you should request your S16 return from his temporary stay with his father. Maybe, he will want that now, anyway?

I am so sorry you are going through this, ACJ! But, at least, now you know what to expect, and you know what you are fighting.

Take care. Thinking of you, and you are in my prayers.

Thank you for all your kind wishes.

We(L&I)have a game plan.Let the battle commence

I am feeling unbelievably strong right now. How long it will last is another matter

S16 stayed over last night. I currently have a lot of meetings at the uni which is across the road from the college he goes to. Things didn't go quite according to plan yesterday though. I was supposed to bring him home from college but my meeting over ran by an hour or more so he caught the bus back to Hs. The reason we had agreed that he stay the night was b/c I had another meeting at the uni this morning and I offered to drop him off at college. By him staying here it meant we both got an extra half an hour in bed! Yesterday afternoon this morning's meeting was cancelled but I knew if I told S16 this he would not come to stay. So we carried on with our plans. I picked him up from Hs later and once he was here I told him the meeting was cancelled but that I would still get up and take him to college as I had promised.

I felt so peaceful last night knowing that I had all my children in thier rightful place (under my roof) and I made sure I told S16 this when we got up this morning. He appreciated that and said he had enjoyed staying as well. I made no demands on him to move back home but did offer to carry out the same arrangement next Tuesday when I have to go on a course which is being held at a building very near to his college and is an all day event. He hasn't given me an answer as yet and I did not pressurise him.

D13 is unwell today but at least I was already scheduled to work from home today.

D18 is now counting down the days to when she goes off to uni. I am equally excited for her.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. How these men and their ow can sleep night after night is beyond me.

Thank you MWG.

I know my H went through a phase about a year ago of not being able to sleep and waking up in a cold sweat after dreaming about our kids b/c he told us. What is happening now I have no clue.

I think I found evidence yesterday showing that Hs character has not been what it should be for getting on for 8 years. I really am questioning my stand right now.

Just caught up with your sitch. I am sorry he is putting you through this. What is he thinking? Is he thinking?

You and your daughter certainly don't deserve this. Hold your head up and do what you need to do.

What are you referring to in your last line of your last post?

I'd rather not say just at the moment b/c you never know who might be reading.

I went to a ceilidh last night (we used to call them barn dances!). It was brilliant. I had such a good time. It was with the social network club I belong to. One of the guys that I know from there that lives near by gave me a lift so it meant I could have a drink (it was quite a long way from where we live). At the end of the evening I ended up going for a drink with THREE guys (one of them the one who gave me a lift). Boy did that do wonders for my ego!

Today I got some more good news but I don't want to jinx things so I'm not posting exactly what here.

Hi ACJ! I am so glad you're having fun, and even going out for drinks with the opposite sex. Doesn't have to mean anything I know, but it's a step away from your H that's been the most meaningful, I think???

Also glad you have some good news. Hope it keeps rolling on in that direction.

Take care.
