Hey SG!

Hope your C visit is good. I always came away inspired after visiting mine.

I HATE getting ex's stuff. My insurance adjuster asked me this week if I co-owned the cottage with ex. WHAT? I sent him the quit claim deed 3 years ago. Dickhead! He never took him off it. I have to get copies for him again.

And I got a phone call for ex recently. YUCKY. Seems that 6 years later your ex might have considered changing his address, no?

Well, hope you have a fun w/e. I missed the part about a possible new doggie.

Well folks,

After being on the ADs for about 6 weeks, they have kicked in and I feel like myself again. I have had a v good week, even got up early the other day and baked popovers for breakfast. I even rode my bike to work!

Friday night my friend's oldest son turned 20. I have known him since before he was born! LOL!
We had a nice get-together at their house. It was very homey and fun, we all cooked the meal together and ate crowded in the kitchen.

Today we had a long morning at the dog park, then to Farmer's Market and after that a long dog training class where Argo was again the star. Only...(and this somewhat relates to Figgy's trauma) there was a lady there with a baby in a backpack working with her Golden Retriever. I think to Argo it looked like a 2 -headed person. He had never seen a lady with a baby in a backpack like that. It took him a while to settle down, he was barking at them and not listening. I made him do things that he knew, and gave him lots of positive reinforcement and eventually he settled down. We did a LOT of "watch me"!

This afternoon I was invited to a "Pleasure Party". It actually was fun and informative, although the focus seemed to be for women who have men in their lives, not those of us who don't!

Of course there was the pitch at the end to become a part of the host's "downline" which is something I find patently offensive. I guess it is a little like Amway for sex toys.

Tomorrow is another friend's son's birthday. This boy will be 16. So cake, cookies and dinner. Oh boy!

I am really glad to be back to my old self. I feel much more energy and much more hopeful about my future. Yay!

SG:

Your friend's son was born exactly the same day as Ashley!!!! She also turned 20 on Friday! Any idea what his time of birth was? Ash was born at 8:58 PM. I needed to have her before 9 because that's when the dance studio closed and everyone was waiting to hear if it was a girl.

Sounds like you really enjoy your time with Argo. Getting a dog has been wonderful for you. Just forces you outside and that's a really good thing.

Hi Barb,

Congratulations on a 20 yr old...in your case she is the youngest, and in my friends case he is the oldest. She has 2 others in HS and junior high.

And you are right, Argo brings much joy into my life...plus a little annoyance...like wanting a walk before I had my coffee! \:o

Hi Goddess!

Glad to hear that you're feeling more like your old self. Oh and that Argo is bringing you so much companioship and joy!

Tomorrow I go up to Cait's school for parents weekend. I will come home on Sunday and my middle daughter will be there, but the best part is that I will get to spend time with my little grandog. I can't wait. I bought her her Halloween costume and I'm so anxious to try it on her!

Take care............

Love,
Bethie
