FOr the most part - I think she does know. But its like Ash. When Chuck was down in the dumps she said "sounds like he and maggot are rocky". When I said that was not a bad thing and she totally agreed because she can't stant maggot being with him. She then said "but he could get too depressed. He could be suicidal. And for that reason - I don't want them to break up - I don't need a depressed dad".
So, they DO care deeply about their dads.
She knows who did it all for her. Ash does too. Someday they'll have daughters of their own. And maybe they WILL appreciate us!

Thing is, because he lives closer, she sees him a lot more now than she sees me. She still calls me numerous times a day and I'm always the one she calls when she has her melt downs but they hang out and have fun. I wanna do that rather than the comforting, drying the tears, offering advice. We used to hang out and almost wet ourselves we'd laugh so hard. Not lately and I miss it. And, I've offered weekend getaways but she either has to work or is hanging out with worthless BF. Another icky story!!!
