Morning Friends!

Suns is shining, sky is blue. I didn't go to the cottage yesterday. I looked around and wanted more than anything to spend the day here. Doing what I wanted to (it wasn't WALLPAPERING!). Besides, I heard they changed the cottage forecast to rain - none of that here. SO...

I organized and made miniatures and shopped and watched some tv. And I was happy.

But today I'm heading north for sure. Earlier than I would have yesterday. And I hope to get to the beach before the sun stops shining! Today's goal will be to move some furniture (desk and wine rack) away from the wall and size that wall. Which means I'll be ready to wallpaper tommorrow morning. AND I WILL!

On the homefront, one of the other reasons I stayed home was Ashley. She was teary and torn yesterday (just a typical day with a hormonal daughter). Decided new prospective BF was too controlling and let him know. His GF had just moved out and he was VERY upset with Ash. I'm proud she stood her ground. But she was also upset that ex BF was interested in someone new and it brought back "those feelings". Both guys work together side by side and texted and called her all day. Her comment "Boy mom, it is so wonderful having 2 guys fight over you". I reminded her that she was in the driver's seat and should do NOTHING.

By evening Ash was sure she wanted to get back with former BF. I tried to tell her she shouldn't make a decision, just take some time to heal. But of course - WHAT DO I KNOW? She did got to his place last night. Oh goodie! But she is an adult now and has to learn from her own mistakes. Besides - no guy is ever gonna be good enough for my only daughter. Oh - except her high school BF. Wish she'd go back with him!

Anyway, heading to the sun, seadoo and WALLPAPER today. My horoscope said "Pouring yourself into what you truly value and wish to create with others will bring much satisfaction and inner fulfillment". So its nice to know I'll get satisfaction and inner fulfillment from WALLPAPER! LOL! It is the last decorating effort of a season of improvements. I will raise a toast when it is done (a couple of weeks from now).
