Crap, Beth, thanks for the laugh tonight. That's even funnier!
Oh Kevin... here I was all excited to tell you that we could share advanced Ram degrees together when bigger news arrived in our mailbox tonight. This one was addressed to D14... you know, my high school freshman? Well, it was her first college recruiting letter for volleyball. The head coach asked her to complete a questionnaire and requested that she provide him with her club schedule this upcoming year so they can come watch her play. The letter started, "Each year we try to identify the top student-athletes in the class of 2012 that have the potential to develop into exceptional volleyball players."
I won't say, but the letterhead has a big, red N smack dab in the center; underneath the N is embossed in gold, "1995, 2000 & 2006 National Champions."
Woo hoo! Her first recruiting letter from a Division 1, top 10 school! I dunno. Do you think God is a Husker fan? Now Gabe, don't get too upset. She has her heart set on going to school in California. We've got 4 years to help her get there.
Go Rams!
Betsey
p.s. She said she'd rather die than go to CU. How bout that?
