True, I have decided that I am holding onto negativity too much. And while I think we need our time to grieve...eventually we have to move on or it becomes a pity party...and THAT is not good.

In essence, my H has been missing for 3 years...and finally, I have found out that he is, in fact, dead. The man I loved will never come back...so I grieve for that loss...even though I have been grieving for 3 years....

Time for me to move on...

Jinkies I am glad I live 150 miles inland! We are going to get rain and wind gusts up to 70 mph or so they say...

Some people just love the drama...I say: pour me some more wine!

Hi Vali,

I am glad to read that you live 150 miles inland! I hope you will not get any strong winds where you live. Keep safe.

Oh, how I understand you. It is the same for me. I am trying to enjoy myself as much as I can.

Have a lovely week-end. (((HUGS)))

Hi True! Luckily the storm swung away from us and we had beautiful weather all weekend! I was very safe although some cousins who live near Houston did stay at my parents house and are still there...

Yes, dear, we have to enjoy ourselves as much as we can...we will weather THIS storm and be better for it...

At least, for me there is closure. I am thankful to God for that...the healing has truly begun for me...

Hi Vali,
I am glad that you are safe and sound and hope your cousins will be as well. I started to get worried and checked your thread for a post from you.

Yes, we will weather THIS storm and I am happy that healing has begun for you. That is a big step forward. I wish you all the best and happiness in your future life. Take care. (((HUGS))) xxx

It was a gorgeous weekend here. Nothing but blue sky!

It has turned cooler here...early for a change!!! It is normally very hot until October...I love the Fall weather...I love the cool.

It is hard to heal...and I am trying not to remain angry because that will lead to bitterness and I don't want to be bitter...that is a complete waste in my opinion. I had an appointment with my L today...hopefully I will be divorced by the end of the year...

Hugs!
Vali

and
you have the right to be angry
and
