My problem w/ being nice to W in the past is I haven't set up proper boundaries for myself and it has cost me dearly. No longer will I do foolish things like that. I hate to say I have to be guarded around anyone, but my W makes it impossible for me to rationally act any other way.
Kids have problems and raising them is a constant adjustment. I'm sure I'll get blamed when she wants to wear make-up and kiss a boy too.
RTL PS - Please note that I'm hoping to keep my daughter dateless until her wedding and that I'll be able to extract a mighty large dowry for her hand in the process.
