Thanks ITH

I can let it go but he makes it impossible because he is going to be in this mood now. I don't know how to get him to snap out of it so we can have fun together. I told him I did not want to argue and that I was getting angry and he just said "I shouldn't have even come today"

Now he is just watching tv and we haven't spoken for half an hour. He's not even looking over at me.

Daisy,

I think our last posts crossed paths. You HAVE to act calm. Pretend that his feelings have nothing to do with you. In all reality they probably don't!

Can you find something to do for the next 30 minutes or so that takes you away from your H? Anything, like doing your hair or putting on makeup or going on a walk? I think you can get past this moment. Just act as-if what he is doing is his issue and not yours. You are SO lucky that he is even at your house. Focus on this and I am sure things will improve,

ITH

Ok you leave him sitting in his cave on the sofa and go out of the house for a walk. Can you do that? You don't need to tell him you're heading out and you certianly don't let any snide remarks and you don't slam the door on your way out. Tell your Mom you need to go for a walk. Walk/hike for an hour if you have to and let him sit in his rotten mood. let him bring it up in C.

Do you think you can?

Ok. . .

I'm calming down now. It's been at least 20 minutes since I walked away. It probably has nothing to do with me, as he said, but it is sooo annoying when he brings his personal drama in and lets it ruin our day together. I am happy that he is here with me but sometimes I just wanna strangle him!

I'm gonna hang here until I calm down a little more. Then should I go to him or should I wait him out? He is literally just across the room.

He's in his cave and he won't/can't come out until HE's ready. The more you "bug" the deeper he'll go.

Yeah Jen. It's 90 degrees here though. Don't know about an hour. Lol.

I am just afraid that he will leave if I just walk out the door.

I think you need to make yourself scarce. Out of his sight at least.

I'd still suggest the walk.

Daisy if he leaves it's his choice but I don't think he will...can you go to the mall and have a coffee or icecream?
