Funny he emailed you as late as possible...thereby telling you, without communicating it, that he doesnt want to get into convo by email. My ex used to do that.. email me at 5.15 often.

But hey, thats great news that he said he would phone you and come for dinner, with friends! Thats a great DB opportunity isnt it. It does make me wonder what on earth aub must think of all this, him going out for dinner with you..unless he lies to her, who knows.
