(((Dawn)))) ((((ITH)))) ((((Ali))))

ITH- thanks for letting me know. That's a shame, but maybe another time?

Dawn- thanks for visiting! I totally take your point about not starting an R while married to H, and I'd say that at this stage it's not really a possibility, but the flirting is fun and it's good for me to be able to flirt with someone else. In early Feb (when CEO first flirted with me), I was really shocked and couldn't contemplate reciprocating, so it's good I've moved on enough to think about flirting (?). Oh, BTW, yes, H did tell me it was my hair (it was wrong), and that I cooked too many peas (maybe about twice a year!) that were problems.

Al- let me know what you think of the pics. Nothing from H today, and it makes me even more inclined to be detached as he knows I had a bit of a hard time on Friday afternoon. What can you do? It's his loss. I'm breathing and feeling calm- not sure where the detachment came from- time, maybe, and focussing on other things? He asked me on Friday about meeting up on Wednesday night. I was planning a curry with Austin, but she asked her H, so it looks like it's going to be an odd sort of double date. We'll see if H follows the invite up- I'm not checking with him, and besdides which, why does he want to go out with Austin to say goodbye to her (she's moving back to Austin in two weeks)?!? It's all a bit odd.....

CEO and I exchanged a couple of bantering e-mails this morning- nothing too sordid, just an exchange about a night out drinking he has planned with my former boss. For those who like the detail, exchange was as follows.....

Me: [old boss] said he'd get back to you about your e-mail and laughed in a manly way about it. I don't know what that meant
CEO: Probably the pineapple juice. I might have to out-do him on the drinking front next time
Me: I don't think you could even out-do me on the drinking front, so I'll look forward to seeing you out-do [old boss]
CEO: Just watch me, girl, you just watch me. I've got one more good performance in me yet
Me: Like a last Bacchanalia? Mankind will be mourning a great loss if that's the case
CEO: They'll get over it!

"Girl"?!!!???

I think I get to go too anyway, so that should be good fun- I'll see what he and my old boss plan, and of course will let you guys know.

(((((all))))

Hope you're having a good day.

Yes it is your H's loss! I was just thinking, I hope they weren't mushy peas! Nice crisp garden peas are ok, though!

Cooking peas and your hair...Those are about the WORST reasons I've heard here, and I have heard some bad ones...

Anyway the conversation with CEO sounded fun! Lighthearted banter...nothing wrong with that!

I hope your H pulls it together soon! I really have a feeling he's about to make a move though, call it gut instinct...

Interesting about the dinner thing with Austin.

Love the e-mail banter.

Handsome- no, not mushy peas. They were garden peas, and seriously, I only cooked them about 10 times in 7 years H and I were together as he didn't like them! What can you do?! Maybe I should have been cooking aubergine instead ;\)

ITH- I'm glad someone has a gut feeling about H. There have been so many times I thought I was making real progress with him and then nothing happened that I've stopped altogether now. You can have expectations on my behalf (actually Handsome used to do that for me, but even he's given up now! ;\) )

Michelle- it IS odd about Wednesday isn't it? Not sure what to make of it- not going to analyse though. Confusion reigns in H world maybe?

Had a nice evening- done some exercise, painted my nails and watched a bit of TV. And visiting you guys, of course. Here's a thing- the Friday of the football, I remembered that late in the evening CEO ended every sentence he said to me with 'luv' in a cockney voice. I guess that was pretty flirtatious. I can't believe I forgot about that. End of obsession. I think H might mail me tomorrow (as he's out of his office on Wednesday). Bets on for a sentence about the football, one about his work and asking me for gossip from my office?!!

Hey Lisa! Thanks for the email and pics...

um, I know you love him, and he's your H and all..but...he looks so young! A boy! Whereas CEO looks like a man, thoughtful, strong and very handsome! And he doesnt have a dodgy chin !?

I just think its interesting that... CEO is tired of his search for Mrs Right, as in he tells you about the rubbish girls he dates and unsatisfactory texting he gets into..he is looking for the one and even said to you that he would like to get M and have a family.

On the other hand.. you were not working for 2 years and were trying for a baby (?).. and how does your H react? He has an A and walks out. Then you tell him you had a miscarriage and he never mentions it ever again ! Thats not good. His behaviour has been quite immature. He has issues with his mother. He cant leave or stand up to his mother, so he left you. CEO looks like a grown up, like a man who is ready to have kids.

Theres no guarantees though are there and appearances (as we here all know) are deceptive. But, I still vote CEO.. sorry!

Shame your H didnt email today. Does seem that he has stopped making quite so much effort with you. Interesting if he does go out as a foursome on Wednesday then..

Ali x

Wednesday should prove to be very interesting indeed!!

We don't have each other's emails unfortunately.. I would have enjoyed a peek at your two suitors!!!

Now, CEO ending sentences with the word "luv".. that is very telling! He is laying it all out there for you to see.. hoping to get an okay or something from you.. Your life is SOOOOO exciting.. although I would imagine it's got to feel a little stressful at the same time!

I haven't seen your picture either but can imagine from the personality that comes across with your posts that you are as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside. Your H is a fool and your CEO knows a good thing when he sees it!

Thanks for posting on my thread Lisa.. and reminding me of the Starbucks from back in February.. that was a wonderful little baby step! Funnily enough H and I still share a passion for Starbucks. We had one just yesterday!

Hugs,
W2G

((((Where)))) ((((Ali))))) ((((Michelle)))))

Michelle- seriously? You think you'd lose?!! ;\) \:\) Maybe the next e-mail will be the miracle e-mail of no football/boringness at work talk! LOL- that'd be funny!

Where- a couple of photos on FB for a limited time only- I'm paranoid so will take them off in a little while. Let me know what you think! It's 3-1 to CEO at the moment....

Ali- it IS a shame H didn't mail me today- for him! Maybe I should contact him a bit. When I was a bit more proactive he was more responsive. I guess it's the guilt thing again. He does look young in that photo I agree- it's an old photo though. He looks older now, although not as old as CEO- there's 10 years between them so he never will! CEO probably is ready to settle and have kids. I'm glad you approve of his chin! It's all good fun at the moment!

Wednesday IS going to be interesting. Although maybe H will change his mind. I guess we'll find out tomorrow (after all, it's not as though he's not changed his mind about spending time together at the last minute before!)

Thanks for visiting you guys! I love speaking to you!

L. xx
