So, no Military Ball for us. We decided not to go. All of that after finally finding a dress and shoes, too. I am returning the dress today before heading back to my place. Keeping the shoes though. A girl can always use more shoes!
I am not good at describing, at all. But...I can say the shoes were black high heeled special occasion sandals. The dress was a sleeveless, full length plum chiffon.
There was a lot going on for me mentally and physically with my endo acting up and so we decided it was better to stay in and relax. FA was quite happy about that too and was glad to not having me stressing. We had a very late but good dinner that night with his son. His daughter was tired and had gone to sleep early. Besides, Friday was our time alone with her as his son stayed at a friend's place so we went for Chinese after shopping. Sunday all of us went for an excellent lunch and barbecued in the evening. A really good weekend!
Today FA and I met up for lunch before I returned the dress, pick up a few things, and headed back to my place. Good drive back, too. No traffic!
So this week, I need to wash my car and pick up some books I have on hold at the library. Tomorrow, I am meeting with a friend for Thai food! Yum! We are going to our favourite place so I am looking forward to that. We always try and order something we haven't before to make it a different experience each time.
