If your school, or another one nearby, had the GATE program that would be cool, but yeah, public schools really have a hard time with kids that don't fit the "normal" curve.

I got lazy. Did my homework the period before it was due, goofed off in the evenings. My parents never checked up on me because I always did great.

My sister didn't see the point to turning her homework in. She obviously knew the stuff since she got 96-100% on all the tests...so she didn't see the point in wasting her time on homework lol.

The other thing to consider, besides GATE, is schools which will let them go up a grade or two in classes they are good at (i.e. english or math or whatever) and/or which would allow them to take a college class or two for fun.
