Pretty uneventful weekend and just starting a thread to have one ready.
H was supposed to come over today to get D and visit with her, but called and said that he threw his back out and can barely move. I acted as if and told him it was fine and she'll just see him next time. He said "no, it's not fine, but okay." He was supposed to give me money since I seriously don't have even $1 but said that he'll go to my bank tomorrow instead now on the way to or from the doctor. I hope he does since he told me to go get what I needed and write a check since he'll have the money in tomorrow. I went to Walmart to save some money and they take their checks like a debit card now, so that money will come out tomorrow now. It's too much stess thinking about this so I just want to crawl into bed.
Can you go get the money from him or is that not a good thing to do?

FG I hope your h comes through with the money. I find it interesting what your h said about it's not fine. I remember awhile back my h didn't make it to something and he said almost the exact same thing.
They do realize that it is NOT ok.

MWG, I suggested to him that I do the drive for him and go get the $. He got upset and said that it would be easier for me if I just go to the store and write a check. I don't like him upset so I drop it.
GG, I thought it was a bit odd too that he said that. I was actign as if and all upbeat, friendly when I said "that's okay" and he responded with "no it's not okay, but whatever". I can't read too much into it though as he's GREAT at going back and forth!
writing a check gives him time to bring you the money but you are on a deadline and you need to deposit it by what 3PM today?????

Yep. He's at the doctor at 2pm today and said he'll go to the bank right after on his way back home. I asked him to tm me letting me know he went, but so far nothing. I'll be fumed if he doesn't do this! I'd really NOT like the extra $200 I'll have from Friday's pay to go to negative fees in my account!
Yes, you need to avoid the overdraft fees which are expensive! Next time, tell him you ran out of checks.
