As some of you may remember, autoimmune thyroid disease runs rampant in my family - myself, all three of my siblings, 2 teenage nieces, and my mom.
So.....D17 calls me yesterday ( she moving back home from Portland in a week and a half - that's another story).
She calls to say she doesn't feel right. Shaky, hypoglycemic, warm, hungry all the time, heart pounding. I have her check her resting pulse - 84. (That's too high). And today she noticed her hair is falling out.
I won't know for sure until I see her next week, but it sounds like overactive thyroid - just like me. :>(
