Mandy, There is a 50/50 chance she sent it, but then again, your son's father may have had a moment of sanity and came out of his little dream world for a time to touch base. Whoever made the contact was trying to break the ice w/your son. I found it quite interesting that it didn't take long for the ice breaker to cease.
Try not to think about it.....it's not worth your time at this point. All you can do is keep the focus on you and your son. Your son is far, far better off in the world he's living in right now, for he doesn't have to worry about having his father around acting out.
Do something extra special w/your son this weekend.
Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to. The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
