It's about a 45 minute drive from my house to grandma's. Way easier to let them spend the night. Also gives them a chance to be with their grandparents. Not a whole lot of other time to spend with them, so the folks appreciate the time with them. Mine are their first two grandkids out of only three.
Yeah, the thing tonight is a work thing. Other co-workers going. Not just a her and I thing.
