me a few weeks ago to her and teacher: s9 claimed that he forgot his math book thus couldn't do his homework. I told him that forgetting his book would lead to consequences with you besides here at home. Also where on the schools website can I find the memory work? Thanks, phoenyx
her: This is what I told you would happen...perhpas now you will listen. This is the second time he has forgotten his homework. (He has also forgotten the sheet that has to be signed saying he forgot the homework the first time.) He was also working on English when he was supposed to be doing something else. He said, "Teacher already hates me." I explained that Teacher does not hate him, but expects him to be responsible and in control and to focus on school. I hold you responsible for not taking the steps to help your son. He and I have devised a system to hopefully help him prior to him leaving school...when he can't focus and ends up feeling like crap about himself, you have nobody but yourself to blame.
me: okay so what is the system so i can implement it also
her:(nothing)
she calls that night yelling at me telling me that blah blah blah blah(see first post in this thread) I ended up leaving her a vm saying that i would try a trial of concerta
today her:
her: Since last night was the 4th time he has brought a slip home that he has not done his homework, I called Teacher. He said, "s9 has a hard time staying on task, is easily distracted, and has a hard time focusing. I will say get your book out. Okay, let's go over problem number 1. Okay, let's do problem number 1 now. I will walk around the room, and s9 still doesn't even have his book out and he is playing with a pencil or something." Is that enough for you?
me: I left you a voice mail, saying I be interested in doing a trial on concerta.... Is that enough for you?
her: His appointment is Monday. I will need you to call Dr. Freund or her nurse and give her that information.
ugh... i also texted her that i wanted to know who the specialist was and when the appt would be, i got a whatever
also today
me: I don't know what time the tournament starts on Saturday, I will pick them up before we have to leave town. I will talk to teacher today. I need your permission for Neighbor to be able to drop off and pick S4 up from school. The first 2 weeks in October is posc training it's 8 hours, not sure what day I will be scheduled, but I obliviously won't be able to do either.. Also on October 29th I will need her to pick him up and am hoping you will be able to pick him up from her house. I have an appointment at 11 and am not sure how long it will last. It is a Wednesday so s9 has bells, and I will sign him up for after school care at school that day. It's not really something I can get out of or change.
her: We have to leave at 7 or so for Tournament Town...I will be taking them.
---------------------- Saturday is my day, and even if it wasn't I'd still want to go see my kid play soccer. Her I will be taking them is equal to you're not going.
I don't care what you think, as long as it's about me.
